Dominos, Alchemy, and two links
Oct. 8th, 2004 02:59 amFor dinner, Nathan ordered Dominos, so we tried the new cheese-layer pizza. Nathan accurately described it as "zesty"--kind of like ranch dressing made into a cheese sauce. Odd.
Ah yes, one other event--Alchemy! Went, got in with a random person for half price, and picked up four VNV tickets--two for Ted, two for me. While inside, I realized that Social D's show is October 18th, but the ticket window was closed by the time I left. Present were some of the usual suspects--
djkangal,
learath,
anizee,
lilscotchgirl, and then there was an appearance by
lanikei--with Manda! And Lani's boy, Victor. (And before I did any dancing, I handed out or left out a stack of posters for Nathan's upcoming play with one of the local theaters, Dracula. Details here at some point. :) A good time was had by all, though the live bands--Grendel and Mindless Faith--left much to be desired. Their music was all right, but it was clear that they weren't doing a damn thing up on stage. (DJs
rasdna and
2501 were great, though. :)
