Friendster and pet laser
May. 1st, 2004 02:21 amFinally joined Friendster. If you're my friend and have Friendster, add me! If you're my friend and don't have Friendster, join!
Earlier, I mentioned that I picked up a laser pointer to entertain Puck, my parents' kitten. Well the packaging offered some humor and a suggestion.. it started off pretty straightforward.. "Dogs love it! Drives cats wild! Birds chase it! Great for training! Makes a great gift!"
But then.. "Fish are attracted to it!"
And best.. "Reptiles are intrigued"
It's also "The World's Most Powerful Handheld Red Laser!" "Ultra Power! Ultra Bright! Ultra Red! 645nm!" Man, that wavelength's what hooked me!
So I brought it out to see what the dogs thought.. at first Waif wasn't interested, but in short order, we had both dogs going nuts, chasing it up and down the hall and the walls, around in circles, under each other.. hilarious! I got three pictures, as well as a bit of video that I'll cut down and upload later. :)
