Time off, TV&movie, Pit Troll
Apr. 30th, 2004 12:01 amThis afternoon, I requested time off work (May14) so I can go to my cousin's graduation in Mississippi (followed by a Saturday in New Orleans!) Even if I get assigned a trip, it won't leave in the next two weeks (or likely the next four), so it won't interfere with anything. :)
After work, Christina came over, we watched some Halo as Nathan played, then TV (Jeopardy, some Star Trek, some Friends, the Steve Harvey segment involving the harmonica kid and Stevie Wonder), then I made dinner. And then, Seabiscuit, which I borrowed from a co-worker last week sometime. Really good movie--great acting, script, filming, and editing.
Christina left, and Nathan and I watched the 2nd-to-last Friends episode, which I'd set to tape for him. (Why's it ending? Why why why? And Frasier too! Such good shows!)

thedogcommunity, we have a probable troll raising hackles about pit bulls. Check out the fracas, chip in with your opinion if you don't mind potentially feeding a troll. Personally, I think pit bulls are great--I've met more than a few sweet, loyal, gentle pitties, and don't think they deserve the Bad Rap they've received--at worst, no more deserved than scores of breeds the media ignores, to say nothing of each individual dog's upbringing.
