Rode out to Manassas unannounced, to find the whole family (minus Shauna) there, so I showed off my bike, then got in my dad's '51 Chevy to head out to dinner with the family. Had a tasty meal at Chili's, ran into my old Chesapeake manager again, headed home, played with kitten, got reg/tag from the old bike, and headed home, after meeting Christina for coffee at Mike's Diner.

During dinner I called Nathan to suggest that he check on the legality of the dog seizure, and he informed me that my bird had gotten a wing caught in her rope toy, from which he freed her, and after I got home and checked her out, she seems fine. Silly bird.

I also put another 60ish miles on my bike today, and am getting a better feel for it, though I'm mildly concerned by what seems like an occasional hitch in the fuel supply.

Riding, dogs, Thai, and da bunny

Italian bike goodness in NoVA!

Nathan did get his dogs back this morning, btw. Apparently neither was properly licensed--Waif's had expired, and Molly had to be licensed at 4 months, not 6--but no one could tell him how this was reported or handled.

Christina came over and made Thai for dinner! Tam Kah and a [Thai Peanut] noodle/chicken/nut dish. Good stuff! :)
