Ride to lunch, LJ catchup, dog impounding

Yeah, I need to keep up a little better. I went to bed early last night, didn't have time for LJ this morning, and opted to ride out with Chris (who has a ZX-6R) and some guys in a truck for $5 all-you-can-eat @ Pizza Hut on Edsall Rd by 395 (rather than come home for lunch), so now I'm about 100 entries behind. (It's a gorgeous day, see, and I wasn't about to pass up an excuse to put some miles on my bike. :D)

Also, Nathan's dogs were impounded this afternoon, and I don't know why. To get them back he has to present valid rabies certificates and dog licenses at the shelter and pay a fee, so maybe those weren't up to date--but I don't know what would've drawn their attention, since the dogs are locked inside a 6-foot fence!
