Three of us went in to work around 1, had a security briefing with the Asst RSO, waited for the other two to arrive, then got set up to pull cable.. pulled a few hundred feet of cable (seven cables in a bundle) through 2" conduit, that ran behind various office walls, through a drop ceiling, through a small room accessible only from outside, and up a floor, to get it from a central room to the end of the wing where it needed to be.. and well, that was most of the day, right there. Left the grounds around 8. Before we do much more serious work, we need to set up a more permanent storage space to organize and work from--apparently Overseas Building Operations (that we work under) has to move from its trailer yet again, soon--this will be the third time in the last month, I hear. :P
Soon, dinner---the two breakfasts and lunch I had before 1 just didn't tide me over for long. :)
Update, later: There is one thing this apartment lacks--a good pot in the kitchen. With only a skillet and saucepan, it becomes difficult to make pasta and sauce, and pretty much impossible to make a pound of pasta (or 500g, as the case may be) at once. Thus, I had to settle for half that amount, and a rather longer cooking time, and less leftovers than I planned to have. :P
