Conduit and sleep
Dec. 8th, 2003 06:35 pmToday we had the fun of scouting out conduit runs and realizing that lo, the drawings bear precious little resemblance to reality. On the plus side, I got to drive a Gator to haul stuff around. :)
Tomorrow I get to sleep in, in theory--we're not going in until about 1, for a security briefing, and it'll be easier to do some of our work without all those troublesome pedestrians around. ;) Why do I say "in theory"? Because going to bed very late Saturday night and sleeping a good bit of Sunday threw my sleep schedule off, letting me realize that no, I'm not really over the jet lag yet. Woke up several times during the night before getting up around 5 or 6am.
In other news, Kansas has been proven to be flatter than a pancake.
Some people actually did a study and came to the conclusion that Kansas is flatter than a pancake.
Mathematically, the craters and crevices in the surface of a pancake are proportionally larger than any deviation from flatness in the lands of the state.
