Birthdays, Nathan's/movie/dinner, etc.
Jun. 21st, 2003 02:18 amYesterday:
Happy 23rd birthday, Ali!
Happy 38th birthday, Rick!
Today:
Happy birthday, Carson!
Nathan and I really liked The Hulk--it's much better than the trailers would lead one to believe. Better story, better graphics, remarkably creative editing, quite good overall. His co-worker Diane (with whom he's had more than a little flirting previously) was very nice, friendly, talkative, but wasn't as fond of the movie; her friend Jane liked it. :) We all then went to dinner at TGI Friday's--though they easily beat us there due to post-movie traffic and where we were parked relative to it--and it was good, as always, and I was hungry enough to eat all of my Bruschetta Chicken and tall hefeweizen. Mmm. Then back to his place, where we walked the whole place and discussed various details (about placement of stuff, cleaning, logistics of relocation, etc etc); checked out the attic and -saw- the two squirrels living up there, which he'll probably pay to have removed; got the spare keys to the place. :) Then we watched an episode of Stargate SG-1 which he'd taped earlier, and I came home.
Now, IMing with Melody :), then work tomorrow at 11.
