Work, and much Cue goodness!
May. 8th, 2003 02:45 amWorked 2-10ish, missed the major rainstorm(s), but it's still warm/humid/overcast. Ick.
Then home, changed, and right back out to Cue!
Encountered the usual crew, as well as Candy/Christine (pretty, has said hi to me before 'cause i'm the Guy with Lights on his Fingers, very very drunk) and Yoopie/Andrea (not sure if I've seen her before, from Michigan, decided she should meet more people).
Passed Kangal the CD of Joy Electric and The Echoing Green I'd burned for him (as he'd just discovered the amusement that is JE, and mentioned finding some TEG lately too), he was pleased.
At one point, the only people on the floor were Becky, Suzie, Candy, and Danielle (a very shapely redhead), and I commented to Paul[en] that the four hottest girls in the building were currently on the dance floor, and we mutually approved.
Saw the photos from Becky's impromptu photo shoot a week or two ago, when she was in thigh-high black boots, black vinyl top, plaid skirt, and pigtails--so not her, but really quite nice to look at. Mmm. :)
Ran into Alex again, though he just played pool with his housemate and left early.
The movie playing half the time I was there was Outland (Even in space, the ultimate enemy is man; or, In space, no one can hear your Scottish accent). Ahh, early-80s Connery. Didn't look that bad, actually. :)
Gave the cripple a ride home, as he lives a few minutes away from me in Manassas. Encountered a cluster of seven police cars just off 66 on 234 Business--they had the right two lanes blocked, and another car on the 66E offramp, and we couldn't figure out why! No other vehicles, no accident, no coroner's van, no FBI.. odd.
And now, to catch up on 13 hours of Friends Page (~90 posts!), while eating dinner. (Ate at work at 4:30, as I was very [shaky] hungry then, and I'm almost as hungry now!)
