24 hours of Zeberific goodness.
Aug. 31st, 2002 10:38 pm9pm: Went over to Nathan's place last night around 7, with the eventual intent to go to a bar he and some of his co-worked frequent in DC. While I was headed over (and took a wrong turn once again--maybe I'll get it perfect the third time), he ordered Chinese, and when I got there I watched him play some 007, the food arrived, and we watched National Lampoon's Van Wilder.. really funny, pretty good story/message, and amazing numbers of hot college women. Then we headed out to the Metro into DC; got out at Farragut West and walked a few blocks to the Mad Hatter. It was really crowded, half the music was crappy, and the beers were expensive ($5 for a 12oz mini-pint), but there were more than a few attractive women, and several of his co-worked showed up. Left around 12:45 to make sure we had a train back out; and went back to his place, where he played a bit of The Thing--didn't like it, couldn't get by one beginning part--and we watched The New Guy( which has some very interesting actors in its cast. ).
We then stayed up until about 6am, talking about just about every significant girl--dated, desired, or similar--in our respective high-school and college lives.. 'twas interesting.
Woke up around 11, called home to tell them I wasn't dead, and then watched Nathan play some more GTA3. We then watched American Pie 2, which was pretty funny, about as good as the first. After that, we ordered pizza, played a little bit of 2-player 007, and watched Dogma (the only one of the four movies that I had seen before.) By this point I'd been at his place for 24 hours, and figured it was about time to go home, so I did. :)
Update, 10:30pm: My dad is finally off the computer!
