A headache? Why would I have a headache?

Let's see.. no food (except some candy and cookies) before about 9:30pm, and no drink except a pint of beer around 9:30-10pm.. I think I'll go have some water. Lots of water.

*minutes later*
Mmm, a quart of water.

Trains? Did someone say trains?

There was a discussion lately about Amtrak (or rail travel in general) being over-priced and inefficient.. guess what? It's even worse.

I'm almost totally packed, 'cept for putting things in the truck! The night before!

(no subject)

So Lindsay returned from school at 0330 today, much to the surprise, pleasure, and temporary anger of her parents.. went over to her house around 1900, then went to see the last one-act play of a competition at Woodbridge high school (down the street).. a cute play about Scrabble and love. Then we went to IHOP (mmm, IHOP) for dinner.. their steak omelette is a) huge and b) tasty. The second half of it, and the rest of the pancakes, will be breakfast tomorrow. :)
Then we went back to her house with the intent to watch a movie (Twister was the choice), but then her parents got back from seeing Capitol Steps (which I need to see sometime.) We all chatted for about half an hour, and then Lindsay got too tired to stay up any longer so I came home.
All in all, a good evening, and I'm glad I got to see her. :)
