A few days ago, I passed off a couple CDRs to Matt so he could copy me his collection of Beatles mp3s.
Friday night I was out with a friend, Saturday morning I was getting ready to leave town, was running a reasonably tight schedule, and honestly forgot to go pick them up.
So I see Steph online, and I ask if she could ask Matt to mail me the CDs, and she acts like I'm being horribly unreasonable--that if I wanted the CDs so badly, I should've come and gotten them, and why should she (or he) make a trip to the post office and spend money just so I could get these things I didn't come get?
All I asked was for the CDs that he copied for me to be mailed to me. A favor. I personally don't view a visit to the PO as an "unreasonable and unnecessary" thing in my day-to-day life, I don't know why she seems to.
