Hot and wiry. Also, camera/software problems.
Today was hotter inside the building than out, and involved lots of wiring. Passed pretty quickly, though, as it's wont to do when one is busy.
However, my camera (Nikon Coolpix 3100) and software (Nikon View 6.0.1, upgraded to 6.1.1) has progressed from:
1) Transferring files from camera to computer correctly in all ways but allowing selection of individual photos to transfer. (Several times since I got it.)
to 2) Freezing the software when told to transfer photos from the software end, and crashing the software when told to transfer from the camera end
to 3) Totally ignoring that the camera is connected, even after reinstalling the software.
So I'm waiting for Nikon tech support to get back to me.
Ah yes, I suppose I should post this, as it's been sitting behind several windows while I read webcomics and cleaned dishes.
Oh yeah! I got a Hanukkah card from
reverend_dave today! :)

iPhoto didn't recognize the camera either, though it does now that I've changed transfer modes. Never used Image Capture, though it seems to like it in the new mode as well.
