R.I.P., Bruno Kreidler

Update, 2/20/04: Due to Nathan's unfamiliarity with my ferrets, I learned (when she was taken to the vet) that it was Bruno who died, not Sylvie. Needless to say, this came as a surprise.

In less upbeat news, one of my ferrets, Bruno, passed away sometime New Year's Day. This is pretty surprising, as he's always been the healthy, active, rambunctious one, no health problems to date, though he was on the old side for a ferret (about 5). I'm sure I'd be more upset if I were at home, instead of having Nathan deal with it 10,000 miles away, but it's still sad.. no more Bruno. :-\

She's been sick off and on, and she's on the old side for a ferret--about 5--but she had a good life, and was always the soft friendly cuddly one. I'm sure I'd be more upset if I were at home, instead of having Nathan deal with it 10,000 miles away, but it's still sad.. no more Sylvie. :-\

Sorry to hear that. It is always hard to lose a pet.
I have owned 3 ferrets in my time and though I love them dearly, I cannot handle their short life span.

Oh, Scott, I'm so sorry! I know Sylvie has had health problems from the beginning, and I'm glad she's out of pain. But I know how it hurts to lose a beloved pet.
