I think my body's telling me, "Dammit, take some time to recuperate! Get more rest!" because man, am I tired today, and was last night as well..
Today I'm wearing the sling on my left arm, to ease the irritation of the swollen elbow, which of course spawns even more questions at work. At least it passes the time--it's been reeeally slow. (I did get to see a satellite camera/phone relay setup to demonstrate some equipment, bouncing off a satellite to communicate between two machines a foot apart. :D)
Also, my pill cocktail for the lunch hour is: Hydrocodone (generic Vicodin), Cephalexin (generic Keflex), One-A-Day Men's Health multivitamin, and Calcium 600 supplement. Lunch is a big ol' turkey sandwich, Yoplait Custard Style Key Lime Pie yogurt, DoubleStuf Oreos, and lemonade. Mmm. :)
Another rider at work pointed out that the steering of a bike should never shimmy, for any reason, so I probably could've prevented the accident by having the bike checked out months ago. Lesson learned.. :P

Also, GodHatesFigs.com. Mmm, parodelicious. :D
And finally, an awesome advertisement to get your ass out to Cue. :)

Re: the advertisement - as if I wasn't already impatiently waiting for next September and the opportunity to visit you in the middle of the week. :P I don't know what prompted the question, but my dad brought up me turning 21 next year and asked if I was looking forward it. I told him how I really didn't care in the least until about four months ago. ;P

Date: 2003-10-22 09:02 pm (UTC)I'm not sure you'll actually like the music selection and volume at Cue, if/when you get to check it out.. it's a lot of the darker/harder stuff from my Dance&Techno&Industrial folder, for examples.

Date: 2003-10-23 04:42 pm (UTC)Well, I do have earplugs, so if chances are it'll bother me, I'd just have to remember to bring them along. ;P I'd intended to use them during the 3eb concert I went to, but I forgot them in the car, and after the concert was over, I wasn't at all bothered by my ringing ears as the concert experience was well worth the after-effects. :D

Date: 2003-10-25 01:57 pm (UTC)I find that at loud shows, I'll start wearing earplugs, then remove them because I don't want to lose as much high-end sound as they block. :D
