Violent dragon!

This morning, shortly after I got up and turned on the lights, my bearded dragon attacked the agama. This was unexpected, because they've been quite buddy-buddy since I got them (and if I believe Cliff, which I have no reason not to, since he got them). He shouldn't be hungry enough to merit the attack, since a) they were fed a few days ago, and b) there's still a cricket loose in the cage. Possible territory issues, but it was very sudden.. so he was chomping on the agama's head, who I quickly rescued, cleaned off, and set up in another cage for the day. (If I held the agama -near- the beardie's cage, he tried to bite through the glass!)

The agama's in pretty bad shape.. head's lacerated, at least one eye is damaged, and he's getting dehydrated and lethargic. I gave him some water, but I don't think it'll be enough--he's fading. :\

I'm not very upset by this one--I'm not personally attached to any of the lizards yet, and the other two are frankly much more active and interesting--also, he's been on the runty side since Cliff got him, had to be hand-fed, constantly underweight, that sort of thing. Still kind of sad, though. :P
