Good news!

As a happy ending to Who'll get the bird?--the first couple, the ones I liked and wanted to get him, are buying him! :D! They've already paid, I think, and are going to pick him up after my manager returns from his vacation, August 11. Coincidentally, that's the day after I start my new job, so I won't have to mope around the store due to lack of my current favorite bird. :)

I already got my schedule for next week, which a) is 38.5 hours, more than I've worked in the past couple weeks, and b) leaves my Monday evening free so I can go to the Zoo with Moira and company.

All in all, a good day at work. :)
