In other things that would be hard-pressed to be more wrong..

Somewhere in this thread is this gem:

[livejournal.com profile] flirtykatiegurl:
The intent of sex is to get pregnant...
The intent of driving is to get where you need to go...

As I commented to [livejournal.com profile] sebatical, as I can't comment in [livejournal.com profile] abortiondebate without joining:
I bet she's never heard the expression "life's a journey, not a destination".

Sex is fun, children merely a sometimes-desired side-effect.

Driving is half the fun of the trip!

Also, account #[livejournal.com profile] 1000000 has been created! (It's [livejournal.com profile] thebubba's! Shh!)

That's too bad. Birth is the start, Death the destination, and it's all about the journey.

I always do a little wandering in the car or on a hike. That's where I find the most compelling, unexpected stuff.

No, she thought they were children before conception. And by not having kids, I was thus killing them...(follow logic accordingly)

I find much of my travel is running late to begin with, so I don't have time to wander.. or it's after I'm tired, and thus have no desire to wander. In general, though, I agree with you, you just act on it a whole lot more. :)

Children.. before.. conception? O_o
There is no logic to follow. :)

You should point her to some ZPG lit sometime!

*g* Sometimes I wander even when late - again, having to do with arrival usually being anti-climactic for me.

And that's why I was taken aback by her.

I usually quite look forward to my destination, which sort of detracts from the journey but rewards its end.. thus, wandering only occurs when I know I have time to spare.
