In other things that would be hard-pressed to be more wrong..

Somewhere in this thread is this gem:

[livejournal.com profile] flirtykatiegurl:
The intent of sex is to get pregnant...
The intent of driving is to get where you need to go...

As I commented to [livejournal.com profile] sebatical, as I can't comment in [livejournal.com profile] abortiondebate without joining:
I bet she's never heard the expression "life's a journey, not a destination".

Sex is fun, children merely a sometimes-desired side-effect.

Driving is half the fun of the trip!

Also, account #[livejournal.com profile] 1000000 has been created! (It's [livejournal.com profile] thebubba's! Shh!)

I can't believe she actually said married people should remain celibate if they don't want children. I don't care what side of the abortion issue you're on, that's fucking ridiculous.

Sex is fun, children merely a sometimes-desired side-effect.

Hehehe.

I read about 75% of that abortion thread. I don't know whether to laugh hysterically or cry over the moronic ideas that people get from religion.

Only half?? Hah!

I have long declared that I don't want to have children. It's just not something I see myself doing in my life. I might adopt later if I change my mind, but in the meantime we raise our pets as children.

So I was discussing this with an old coworker and she said "How could you do that to your unborn children?" and I had no idea how to react. I still dont.

dude. power to people for having whatever opinions they have, but....

damn.

it never ceases to amaze me the zany-ness of some people's thoughts.

(but that is simply my perspective....)
