(no subject)

Oh, poo. I didn't log into Hotmail for 30+ days, so it wiped out all my saved messages. There were only 10-20, but I'd been meaning to forward them to my regular email account and save them.. and it didn't clear the mail folders themselves, just their contents.

Currently: Advising jude on PDA purchasing, and listening to Shauna-provided music. Got up around 10, haven't actually eaten anything yet.

Might strip some of the kitchen wallpaper so Yusef and put up the new stuff.. but given the quality of installation in the front hall and powder room, I'm not sure how good an idea that is. :P

My nephew, Brendan, turns 1 on Monday; birthday party/dinner Saturday evening, which means I should postpone the "thanks for helping transport the new exercise machine from Sears" dinner that C's mom offered that night.

Also currently: Reading the archives of reabhecc's journal. Started going a calendar day at a time, but most of you know how annoying that can get with sparse entries. However, how many of you realize that once on a comments page, you can use the arrow buttons at the top to skip through one entry at a time, in chronological order? Note: One minor failure of this method is if you run upon a journal entry you're not authorized to see--you'll get the Error page, but a bit of manual labor will carry you forward. Replace 'talkread' with 'go' and and append &dir=next to the URL, and you'll be back on track.

I can't believe I didn't remember that! I was aware of it (used it once or twice in the past) but I didn't remember it when I was griping about the calendar view.

I think the reason I ignored them is because they're graphics, not text ... I'm very text-oriented and rarely pay attention to graphics. If they said "back/forward" I would've remembered. :)

They're not very outspoken, no.. I think I just subconsciously treated them as border graphics, while semi-regularly using the Edit and Memory buttons (but never once the Email-a-Post button).
