Xmas, cont'd!

Around 1:30, went over to Christina's to exchange presents. Gave a card to her and her mom; gave her an adorable pewter dragon (sitting reading a newspaper about missing knights, while about it lay remains of knights' attire) and a sun&moon poison ring. Received an Olive Garden gift certificate, wire tetrahedron "kaleidoscope" toy, coffee, black ceramic coffee-bag-shaped coffee jar, and a four-pack of chocolate-plus-other-flavor coffee-add-in powders. Stayed for coffee, got a call from home around 2:50 explaining that if I didn't come home immediately, I was finding my own way to Alexandria for dinner--supposed to be there around 3.

Went home, didn't even go inside--straight from my truck to the minivan, and thence to Alexandria. Had plenty of tasty food and drink, hung out with plenty of cool family (David, Phillip & Beth, Nancy & Miguel, John & Marylea, Pat & Bill, Chris and Julia, Steph & Matt & Brendan, Mike & Lillian), got a few more gifts (Aspen cologne/aftershave, Activity:Gear Swiss-style knife and keychain set, homemade mini-loaf of bread, funky picture holder, and a book titled The Presence of the Past: Morphic Resonance & The Habits of Nature by Rupert Sheldrake, "Mr. Morphogenetics".) Tried to show off some pix of my bird online, but their computer refused to print them even as it printed the rest of the webpage.

Now back home 'n' stuff. :)
