Worked 8-4:30; would've been 4 but I was still helping some customers. Had free donuts and mini-cinnamon-rolls at work courtesy of Christina's mom--she bought a few boxes for everyone to share. :) Swapped hours with Ray for Xmas eve; he's now working morning and I evening. Sold a conure by the usual procedure, but neglected to find a manager for approval and to find the Certificate of Hatching. Didnb't know I was supposed to--it isn't in the Policies and Procedures--but Christina said that's a quasi-optional "supposed to happen" sort of thing for the "more expensive birds." However, neither of us know the cutoff--this one was $470, but we have some for $60, $100, $200, $470, $570, and higher. Suppose we'll ask Ross for clarification at some point, and probably contact the purchaser to pass on that paperwork.

About 70 LJ entries to read since 6:19pm Saturday, the last post I read.

And, my family's missing! At least, neither they nor the minivan were present when I got home from work. ;)

I think I'll sleep well tonight. 5.5hrs Friday night, 3.5hrs Saturday night.

Hehe.. nah, not sleeping yet. I invited my neighbors (who used to have a 'tiel) over to see my macaw, and while they were over my parents and sister showed up again; mom's cooking dinner now. All is normal. :)

Pork ribs with a sauce made from ketchup, Coke, and cornstarch (quite good!), baked potatoes, and mixed veggies. Before I started eating, the bird got some pieces of potato and veggies. Wasn't too fond of most of them. :)

Then apple pie, courtesy of Betty Crocker or Sara Lee, forget which. ;)
