Dec. 5th, 2002 09:38 pmWent to dinner at Damon's [Sports Bar], got both steak and bbq ribs! Also got stood on a chair for their birthday callback-style song, which was entertaining. :)
From parents, in addition to things already purchased, I got a nice pair of warm, waterproof motorcycling gloves, with a squeegee on the left thumb for faceshield-wiping. Also got two graduation cards from Matt & Steph, as they lost them before graduation, so they became birthday cards instead. :) They also got me a Masters of the Universe tshirt, and Steph made me a fleece hat. (They lost one of Brendan's, jester style, and unable to find the vendor again, she decided to make him one.. and then ones for everyone else. :) Mine's a couple feet long, black with white snowflakes. :)
Came home, had a bit of each of two birthday cakes--one from Steph, one from mom--opened the bike cover which I already knew I was getting but mom decided to be silly and wrap, and replied to lots of LJ comments. :)
(Also, in the mail earlier, I got some really nice dark red socks, knitted by my grandmother, to the tune of about a week's labor. :)

Date: 2002-12-07 07:54 pm (UTC)(And shoulder as a perch for a pet bird is generally a bad idea, incidentally. Arm is OK though. :)
Also, I'd have to get someone else to take it for me regardless.
