Early!

I'd just like to complain about the half-dozen people I've encountered today who directly or indirectly wished me a "Happy Thanksgiving!", with no attached "early", as if today were the holiday. It isn't! I don't want you wishing me a Merry Christmas on the 24th of December, either!

I suppose I appreciate the sentiment, but the holiday's tomorrow. =P

However, I'm not going to be thankful for the weather tomorrow--I'm going running in the morning with alumni from my high school's crew team, and the nighttime low is around 23, and tomorrow's high is around 38. Brr!

I'm not going to go. Mostly because of my stupid leg, but also because I don't want to get up. Oh, and I hate running. If we were biking, that would be another story. ;-)

Please send Ron my apologies. Deep down, he knows that I won't be there, but he told me several times that I'd better be!

So you're lazy and have no endurance for running, and are using your leg as an excuse? ;)

Don't be bitter just because I was warm and unconscious when you were frostbitten and working hard. ;-)

No frostbite here, just sore legs afterward. :)

And despite running about once a year, I can still keep up well enough to not be the last to finish. ;)

(Lazy!)

Got to see Ron and Tremonte and a few other people I knew/recognized, too. Sorry showing from '97, though!

I'd just like to complain about the people who don't acknowledge that it is Thanksgiving in some parts of the world.. and some people in those parts of the world are kind of depressed about it :(

Well, happy Thanksgiving to you anyhow :)
*hugs*

(The people saying it so far, all day, have been in the US, directed at people in the US, long before any part of the continental US was in Thursday yet.)

Obviously they were on Bonnie time, because the world revolves around me, in case you didn't get the memo.

I drove down to my parents' house yesterday for the holiday and my dad said Happy Thanksgiving to me when he came home from work.

My reply: "Are you planning on not seeing me tomorrow or something?"
