One of my friends apparently had a problem with her LJ client, and it tallied up 105 copies of her 12:51 post before she got it under control an hour later. :) (Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] therave for getting in touch with her and passing on the update. :)

This is why a) I'm on my own friends page, b) I check my event history if a post "doesn't post", and c) I check my email regularly. :)

she's actually well aware, and working to fix it. :)

Aware after [livejournal.com profile] therave got ahold of her, at least. :)

I'm pretty sure she was aware of what was going on despite the accumulating posts because at least -I- saw at one time, a good amount of them were deleted but started adding on again. It's annoying, but lets not assume shall we? It's kind of funny...

Hehe. If I were honestly annoyed, I would've likely been more petty and linked to her journal. ;)

I was amused by the whole thing... thus my "amused" mood icon. :)

We love gwyndyn. We hate her client.

105?? Dear god!

My creative writing class had an email distribution list for workshop pieces, and one time there was a glitch that resulted in receiving at least 100 copies of this kid's story in a very short period. It was pretty annoying, but at least I had high-speed internet at the time. :-)

Yup, I counted. :)

The most annoying part was that it kept flashing my taskbar pencil for the new posts. :P

Turns out it was a bug in the LochJournal client that caused the repeated posting, not user error--aside from the error of choosing Loch. :)
