judedreamS: Stephen Hawking tells the story of an eminent astronomer who gave a lecture about the solar system, and at the end he asked for questions
judedreamS: and this little old lady stands up and says, "this has all been very nice to listen to, but you're all wrong, because the earth is flat and rests on the back of a giant tortoise."
judedreamS: and the astronomer smiles a superior smile and says "well then, what is the tortoise standing on?" and she says, * "you're very smart, young man, very smart -- but it's turtles all the way down."
