Petsmart quiz, hanging out, etc.

skreidleSlept in for the first time in several days, which was nice. Went into Petsmart around 3 to take the last training quiz, on which I did just fine. Interestingly, I felt more confident going into the Advanced quiz than the Basic one.. though all of the quizzes were half-silly, even Ross (manager) agreed on that.
Then I could've left, but I hung out for the rest of the afternoon with Christina, Ray, Meghan and some other employees. In no particular order: visited the adoptable dogs and some customers' dogs, watched a cat fascinated by the parakeets, played with one of the big rats that hasn't sold for a while, helped with the feeding and watering of the birds and small animals, and played with Christina's large garter snake when her mom dropped by for pet photos. (The snake posed beautifully for photos once given a log to perch on. :) Clocked out shortly after the quiz, which is kind of silly in retrospect 'cause I did do work after that, but oh well.
Gave Christina a ride home--she lives even closer to the store than I do--and stopped by Giant to pick up beer and pretzels as my dad had requested before I left for work, headed home, had dinner (chicken white pizza, and fried chicken), and caught up on 30+ LJ posts. :)
Tomorrow I should get a call from Ross telling me when to come in to start shadowing another employee (which is half of what I was doing already, while doing workbook stuff) before I can be scheduled for regular work.
