Yeah, it's a different form letter. Four similar copies of it, even.
"We appreciate your interest in our Computer Engineer position XXX-[09, 11, 12, 13] advertised under vacancy announcement YYY. We completed the selection process and selected another candidate for this position."

Did a good job of looking thicker than a single form letter, though. :P

In more positive news, I got my reimbursement check from Lockheed for expenses accrued in Cali, and CapitalOne spontaneously lowered my interest rate to 8.9%. :)

Those bastards at Ft. Monmouth made me pay my own way. I know it's the Army and all, but sure, let me just drive four hours for an interview and spend $160 on a room at the Holiday Inn. Please, no -- I don't want to be reimbursed for tolls, either.

They may have dicked me around ever since, but I guess I did get a free lunch out of it. Whoopee!

Come to think of it, even NSWCC reimbursed me for travel and hotel, even though I could have stayed 20 minutes away, at home.

Hehe.. well, Lockheed paid my way to fly round-trip to Cali, 2 nights hotel, 2 days car rental, plus meals/tolls/gas/parking by reimbursement.. and they did that for about 10 people, though half of them were within 50 miles of Sunnyvale, so they only had to cover the last bit for them.
