Anyone local want to join me for a motorcycle ride along the Skyline Drive tomorrow? :)

If I was down in time. Won't be in MD till tomorrow evening. But I don't think I'm bringing the bike. Since I'm there for 2 weeks, I can't be sure of the weather. The thought of towing that trailer home in a foot of snow isn't all that appealing.

Well, there's no way we'd get that kind of snow down here.. don't know about NY, though. I hear various parts have gotten dustings to storms.

Love to join you man, but even if I left now, I'd not make it there in time. Sigh.

I might just do Skyline Drive next June, though. The STAR rally that I went to in Hot Springs AR this past June is in Charleston WV next year, and my high school reunion is over on the Delmarva Peninsula the weekend before, so I might combine them all in one loooong trip. If I'm not in Ireland - but that's another whole issue.

Anyhow, have a great ride. Should be awesome up there, although watch out for the distracted tourists and the deer. I recall plenty of both along Skyline....

That Delmarva/Skyline/STAR run sounds like it'd be an awesome ride, though, if you can swing it.

My ride was indeed awesome, and featured both deer and distracted tourists--you can read about it in my journal, as I'm sure you'll notice if you haven't already :)
