Last night's dream
Nov. 6th, 2002 04:58 pmTo the best of my recollection (which will keep things short):
I was in London, traveling around by bus. I met a girl, she asked where I was headed, I showed her a scrap of paper with an address messily written on it--which I could read, odd for a dream. She took me into a theatre building. There were performances in various rooms throughout the building; traversing them meant using various stairways and steeply sloped passageways--textured like a shingled roof. I was barefoot, which slowed me down more than my shoe-wearing companion. In one room, a group I later realized to be Rockapella (after waking up and returning to my computer) heard was singing People Change; we passed through that room and a few others by means of climbing over empty chairs.
We were accosted by some employees demanding a ticket fee--$15, reasonable for such a set of performances, though an odd denomination in London--but we escaped by ducking under a railing and running out the door. My companion told me that to escape we'd have to take the Well--apparently a subway--so we headed off that way. And that, I believe, is that.

Date: 2002-11-06 04:16 pm (UTC)I was living with three other girls in a house in CA that belonged to a very unattractive, reclusive man. We weren't allowed to leave, and we weren't allowed to enter his room on our own under any circumstances. He had a hall closet that was filled with women's shoes of all sizes. For instance, there would be five pairs of the same red satin high heel, all in different sizes. We learned that he was picking up women, taking them home, dressing them up, having sex with them, and then killing them.
We made a plan to escape. One morning while the man was sleeping, we threw some of our belongings and some food in my car and sneaked out. On my way out to the car, I passed a semi-nude blonde girl carrying a glass of water back to the man's bedroom. I wanted to warn her that he was going to kill her, but I was afraid she would say something that would alert him to the fact we were onto him, and then he could try to stop us from escaping.
We made it out to the highway, and then I woke up. I was so disturbed by the dream that I decided to go back to sleep and not get up until I had a pleasant dream.

For the few times I've done so while an LJ user, I made entries and marked them as Memories under the "Dream" heading, if you wanted to see some others I've recorded. :)
