Well, I had a friend comment about Electric Boat, for which her father works/worked.. "NO NO NO NOT ELECTRIC BOAT IT WILL EAT YOUR SOUL". Seems a common opinion, where's yours come from?

Who's Electric Boat?

Electric Boat. Works on nuclear subs, mostly, at the shipyard in Groton, CT and manufacturing plant in Quonset Point, RI.

I believe they also recently aquired Neport News Shipyard in VA, I don't think they will rename it though.

They are also in the beggining stages of designing the new class of nuclear powered aircraft carriers, which will most likely be built in Neport News.

My soul has been eaten. It wasn't that bad of a company. A bit large. i would have gone back to wrk there had everyone in my department not hated their job.
