Damn, AOL is sucking this evening.
Aug. 22nd, 2002 11:24 pmNot that this is anything new. However, the repeated "System Response Has Taken Longer than Expected; if this repeats, go to Keyword: SYSTEM RESPONSE" are really getting old; and, of course, this keyword also prompts a system response error and no action. Makes it kind of hard to download files and chat on AIM and keep up with LJ, it does. :P
In other news, I came up with wording for my grad announcements, and after playing around with my printer, my dad's printer*, couple ink cartridges, some cleaning, and some custom-cut test sheets, I've successfully printed a stack of announcements. :)
* I also managed to temporarily block access into my dad's computer, which he could fix. There was a BIOS password set to keep Shauna off the computer without permission; I figured that since Shauna's at school, this hindrance could be removed. Into the BIOS setup I went, and removed the User Password. On restart, there was still a password set, and I couldn't get by it. Curses! Turns out there was also a System Password (or something like that) and some third item, all of which had to be cleared to return the computer to its password-free-boot state. Thus, my dad could still get in and remove these items.
