skreidleSo, I'm the list owner for four related (and now un-needed) e-mail lists for last year's robotics teams, so I want to shut them down.
I go to the Cornell Information Technologies page, click the link for "E-mail and Mailing Lists"
From there, "manage mailing lists"
From there, "Shutdown Your List (permanently)"
From there, "List Owner Change Center"
From there, "shutting down your list"
From there, "it is best to use the shutdown feature of the renewal site"
...only to be told, "The renewal period for spring 2001 is over. Please contact listmgr@cornell.edu for further assistance."
