Since 7/18/2000.. 1y2m6d as of my poll, a couple more days now :)

Yep, I was hanging around #izzicam and reading those journals and seeing cutelin's led to joining up mostly to comment.

I've never written much in journals.

I know I'm gonna be using the poll feature a lot.

I just wish there was (1) a tool for it in the winders client and (2) a link to it from the web client.

I've also only used that once. :)

(1) would take a bit of work to implement; (2) would be easy. I don't even remember how to get to poll creation, except through the FAQ that covers polls..

(1) Understood, LJ programmers are overworked as it is, thus I don't even bother to suggest things and (2) That was the thing, the tool is so buried.

I think my buddies who do VB could make a windows poll creator, and I know I could do one in CF, but both would be kind of hacks unless they were integrated somehow. All I could think of is that I could write one in JavaScript that you launched from bookmarks in your browser and opened into a new window, sending the finished poll back into the web client.
