Fuckin' fire alarm.
2nd false alarm in as many months, from the same room's alarm--and this after a recent system test. And it took a good 20 minutes for the fire dept. to get here, and it ain't warm outside.

(To their credit, they showed up with 2 regular trucks, a ladder truck, and the chief.)

Nea's going to try to get Pleasant Valley Electric to replace it for free, since they obviously didn't fix it right last time.

Oh how I long for cooler weather outside. We still get up into the 90's during the day and it only cools off to the 80's at night. We don't start cooling off until later November.

Heh.. it decided, last week, to start dropping into the mid-40s at night. It's back up to the mid-50s at night (and high 60s-mid70s day), now. We've had a fairly moderate summer here, overall.

We're going to cool down on Monday supposedly. It stays up in the 90's until well after Halloween with an occasional cool front. I'm waiting for that.

Currently, most of NY/PA is 60 and pouring rain. :P
