I posted an ad on eBay directing people to buy reprints of the NYT from the company rather than buying from eBay sellers, and gave the ph# and hours.. got mail from seven different people saying thanks, God Bless, how it's despicable that people were profiting from the tragedy, one even said I was a hero, etc., before eBay pulled the ad¹.

Good stuff. =)

i went to see how much the issues were running for (asking price of ~$15100), and everytime i clicked on one it said that the auction had either already closed or it was illegal and had been pulled. i thought that was interesting.
