Sep. 11th, 2001 12:31 pmCornell has -not- closed, but faculty are being given the option to cancel class, and are being asked to help students in need, direct them to TVs, or to support centers all around campus..
ResNet, however, is closed for the day so I don't have work this evening.
My friend Nick Seeley works next door to the WTC, but he's fine.
I haven't been able to get a call through to my family via any land or cell numbers in hours.. they should be fine, 30 miles west of DC, but my mom called this morning around 9am telling me (audibly shaken) to turn on the TV.. I've been watching it since, IMed everyone who was online, called 120, emailed a couple lists (APO and Seal&Serpent alumni) with some details and the downed flight numbers.
