Fun lazy day!

Katia and I went to the Ithaca Farmers Market this afternoon.. it's a permanent open-air market where vendors of all sorts of vegetables and prepared foods and arts and crafts ply their trades from 9-2 Saturdays and 10-2 Sundays all summer.. there's usually some live music or other performers (today the Neal Massa trio (jazz), and after 2 a performing troupe was putting on A Winter's Tale (I think)), and it's right on the water, with a pier and gazebo. On Sundays dogs are allowed, and today the SPCA traveling adoption crew was there with about 15 cats and kittens, and a few dogs and rabbits.. had a brunch of omelettes and Cheddar Smashed Potatoes (mmmmm) and mango lassi (a yogurt-based drink). Then we drove over to Amelia's to help her unload a couple pieces of furniture that had been in her truck since she got back from MD, and played with her kitten and watched forsensics shows on TLC.. and now home again, home again, jiggety jog.
