1) So Monro Muffler/Brake & Service checked out my truck (for free!) and said that though they couldn't rule out a problem with the head gasket (which would suck and be expensive) because they don't have the equipment, they said there are flow problems in the radiator, and they could replace it for me. For about $350 ($200 radiator, $56 labor for that, $36 coolant flush/fill, $34 labor for that, $10 discount, $10 fee).
I can buy myself a new one for $110-$130 (I called around) and install it myself.. and flush/fill the system. I think I'll go that route.

Update: I found the one place in town that seems to be able to do actual radiator cleaning, for $30-40 if a night in the tank takes care of it or $70 max if he has to disassemble it and rod it. Sounds like an even better plan. Have to take him just the radiator, though, which makes it kinda interesting.

2) The lasagne was quite good. :)

More) I found Big Lots! And discovered there's a Petco in that center! And, I got a filing box and folders to finish filing all those treasurer records.

Big Lots! I've never seen one here, but I've heard that they're around... thank you for the reminder to look!

Big Lots..

It's sort of a discount KMart. Nice, though I wasn't terribly impressed--but I couldn't do comparison shopping, either; their prices might be phenomenal.

I've never found their prices to be so phenomenal. They just buy bulk stuff no one else could sell most of the time. I've got one near me and I've probably only gone into it like twice in the last five years. I'd rather go to a BJ's, Sam's Club, or Dollar Store for stuff.

That's what I thought it would be, but this one is much more like a KMart than a Sam's. They didn't really seem to have anything in bulk, or anything that no one else was selling.

And I really really wish there was a Sam's or a BJ's within 30 miles of here.

I was thinking something like that as I wrote it :)

But that's the name of the chain! Honest! :)
