Wacky weather, flaky Florida

When I got to Denver Sunday afternoon, it was 55º. That night, it dropped into the 20s, and snowed a good 5", with ice underneath. Monday, the high temp was only 38º, but the sun melted most of the snow away. Right now, at midnight, it's 19º, but the next ten days' forecast is lows of 30-40º, highs of 45-60º, with a bit more snow Thursday. Nothing like consistency, eh? ;)

In other news, Florida is already recounting ballots. No kiddin'!

Day 2 complete; assorted quality links

Day 2 of class in Denver; overnight temp held at 18, but warmed into the 40s by lunchtime. Lunch at Noodles & Company, which was quite tasty. And now, day 2 (and class 2) is over. :)

Also Via subbes, hilltop: Just talking face to face with this guy, a pastor, a guy who's been pushing for the God Guy, came to realize that Bush isn't what he's cracked up to be. He said he'd already voted for Bush, but said he'd stay there for the rest of the day, and said he'd personally talk to the members of his church if he saw them coming in to cast their ballot. And he said he'd personally ask them to vote for Kerry, because Bush hasn't been acting in a God-like way.
