Non-party, mountain hike, party party

Headed over to Christine's for her "Not a Party, just a Gathering of a Few Friends" around 20 last night, stopping along the way to pick up some overpriced beer and cider--$18+ for a six each of Stoudt's and Woodchuck--and having fun with a truck that didn't want to start again before continuing on to Christine's, a few blocks away. (I'm wondering about my battery or alternator, as this isn't the first time it's intermittently had issues starting.) Hung out with Christine, Liz, Erika, Faye, and Aaron over assorted drinks (including home-made sangria) and munchables, before heading home at a somewhat late hour, assorted belongings in tow (that had been left at her house when we were dating.) All in all, went well. :)

I then stayed up too late reading LJ, woke up at 06, got up by 0610, caught up on LJ, and now it's almost 07, and I need to pack some food/water and head up to Rockville to pick up Esther, whence we'll head down to Sperryville to meet Cornell Club folks to hike over Old Rag Mountain again. :)

(And as soon as I get back this evening, I'll head right back out to Annandale, for Mike Hedrick's bday BBQ! Busy busy.)
