Impulsive? Nathan? Naaah.

So, after we finished watching two episodes of Stargate: SG-1 interspersed with Nathan playing Quidditch World Cup--shortly after 2200--Nathan decided to go see Harry Potter 3 again. I looked up the times on MovieFone, and learned that the showing at Springfield Mall started at 2210--about seven minutes away. So, we went anyway, leaving about 2205 and arriving (according to the theater clock) at 2215; we came in at Harry's departure on the crazy bus.

Still a good movie, and I'm starting to want to re-read the five books again. :)

However, first books first--I'm currently hastily reading Melody's copy of Life of Pi, which is quite enjoyable, and next up is my copy of Eats, Shoots & Leaves, which arrived by surprise today. BenRo, you rock. :D

This kitten knows how to Chill Out. :D (It's another Joel Veitch anim!)

CNN.com: Virginia judge blocks 'day of rest' law. Oh well--it was a nice idea (for the workers) while it lasted.

From [livejournal.com profile] michaelduff: How Hitler Became a Dictator. It's an interesting read.

On a much lighter note, Nathan and I just watched Johnny English, and I must say, the only really good points were 1) Natalie Imbruglia is gorgeous as Lorna Campbell, and 2) the Aston Martin DB7 Vantage is awesome. Other than that, not really worth the time unless you enjoy low-grade slapstick.

I suppose I should get ready for Susan M and Michael H's wedding, since it starts in about 80 minutes. :)

(And there be food in the house! $181 worth of groceries for $132 due to my mad shoppng skillz.)
