Over the next several hours, I danced my ass off, egged on by Cosmo when I was slacking--though he thought everyone should be dancing more, he of the Rivers of Sweat 'cause he gets so into dancing. :) (I helped him and Susie carry his DJ equipment to his car--the equipment he didn't get to use, unfortunately, due to the weather outside his outdoor booth.) My lights were borrowed by at least three or four people, and in tracking them down again, I met a very nice girl named Laura.
When Alchemy shut down around 0230, I joined Laura, her brother Charles, and their new friend Sam on a jaunt elsewhere in the city. (We were supposed to be accompanied by another vehicle of people, but they either decided not to follow or got lost, and went home.) We ended at The Diner in Adams Morgan, where I had a delightfully-named Croque and Dagger, which was a croque-monsieur with gruyère cheese. Hung out there until about 0415 or 0430, got contact info, then left the city via 14th St and came home. (I don't like driving in DC, incidentally. As much as the residents claim its streets are on a logical grid, they're lying. ;)

Next Saturday is Freak Day @ King's Dominion, which I may attend--however, Christine Lange (TJ '97, whom I haven't seen in at least a year and a half, if not seven years) is performing in a One Act play that evening. Shall see.
This song is rather nice, musically speaking.
