Having upgraded my PayPal account to Premier/Business (for free!) so I could accept the AZ-guy's credit payment, I received his payment for my Maxim parts and drove down to the post office to mail the packages.. only to find, at 1730, that the PO closes at 1700 on weekdays. Bah!

Around that time, I was also finalizing plans to meet Shaye and Moira, since Shaye's only in town for a few days before skipping off to NC, back here, and then back to England for a while. We settled on Bridges (former site of Cue), and Nathan joined me on the venture. We then had a grand old time chatting, eating, drinking, and playing several rounds of pool, where Team Winner (Nathan/Moira) beat Team Stripes (Scott/Shaye) about 3-1. I also took several pictures of the lot of us. :)

(Oh yeah--I also got a written warning for driving at night with no lights--it was bright road all the way out from Bridges to 123, and I currently have no headlight indicator on the dash. Oops! :P)

Also, photos of the skull-themed chopper I saw the other day!

If [livejournal.com profile] thehunter's animals could talk when she got home from school, here's what they might say.. :D

Mailed off the motorcycle parts during lunch--one more item off the to-do list. Got a call from Steph during work regarding flight scheduling--I may have to take off part of Thursday the 13th to get a better flight price to Logan's graduation. Got home, mowed the rather tall front lawn.

Info passed on by several people:

Micah Wright is a fucking liar. All the info you need to be pissed off at this man you've probably never heard of, right there.

From [livejournal.com profile] skamille: It's sad and unfortunate that a fishing boat sank and killed its crew in the Bay of Fundy in gales and -28ÂșC weather, but the photos taken by the Coast Guard boat during the search are breathtaking.
