On the way to work this morning, I learned that my truck wins in low-speed rear-ending, too. Stopped and facing into the sun at a stop sign, several cars back inline, I was hit from behind at about 1mph by a minivan. I considered not even pulling over, as I knew I hadn't taken any notable damage, but I decided I might as well as I got up to the stop sign. I got out (smiling ruefully, I might add), checked my bumper--a little scraped plastic over the 1/8" steel--and his--some scraped and dented plastic on the front bumper. As there as no reason to report anything, we went on our ways. :)
We gave up on the NY Times puzzle. :P Later, there was a good hour among various people talking about motorcycles, and I got to sit on two different Kawasaki sport bikes--more different in feel than meets the eye--and a BMW sport-touring bike. And now it's the weekend. :)
Tonight, party at
anizee's house, all of 3 miles from here. Over the weekend, I hope to get to Costco with mom or Steph to check out their laptops.
