Weldin' & sexin' & viewin' & clubbin'

Welding! Welding is fun, even if I'm sorely out of practice, have a hell of a time striking an arc, and move too quickly along a joint. It's been a while!

Those of you who couldn't read the link in my last post--most of you--check back if you're interested in the sexin'. :)

Last night's Nip/Tuck was pretty wild, and the Joe Schmo Show was entertaining. Tonight, The West Wing and then Cue!

Modem/Movie, ZA, welding, evening plans

My cable modem wouldn't connect from sometime before I got home from work, until about 8pm, so I had some dinner and watched most of Ransom. Not bad, kept me guessing, but I wouldn't buy it.

Installed ZoneAlarm recently, actually fired it up today (since my connection is working well now--it wasn't when I installed it, so I didn't want to bother with the websites it would offer for various alerts.) Nothing exciting--expected programs calling out, rogue pings coming in. Blocked! Haha!

Welded most of the day, perfecting a lap weld with the arc welder. Not quite perfected, but much better than when I started--which, admittedly, was already better than the four people who'd never welded before. :) Learned that the plasma cutter can project about 1cm of 220,000F cutting gas. Da-amn.

Caught up on LJ, plan to reply piece-wise to that sex article, watch The West Wing, and consider Cue. Undecided, pretty fatigured from the day thus far.
