"Girl, you brought this on yourself!"
Jul. 12th, 2003 02:44 amWill Smith on Leno last night was hilarious. :)
Worked 7-3, which kind of sucked following a 3-close shift the previous night, and my co-opener was an hour late due to traffic, but other than that it was all right. Got a paycheck, at least. :)
Around 6ish, talked with family and arranged to return to Manassas for dinner at Pho Gourmet, an excellent little Vietnamese place near my parents' house. Following some very pleasant distractions, Melody and I left Lorton around 8, met parents/sisters/Matt/Brendan at Pho and it was good.
At home, I decided to pack up all my board games and bring them to Lorton, whereupon I realized I have a lot of board games, many of which I'd entirely forgotten about, and just about none of which have been played by anyone in the house in many years. I'll list them later, but suffice to say it's two garbage bags full of boxes of games, dating from 1980 to late '90s. (There were a few I decided to give up to kids/charity, but most I want to keep. :)
Tomorrow, meet Melody's friend Adina at Wolf Trap (where she works) and then Metro into DC for the day, probably followed by food shopping so we can cook dinner Sunday. :)
