Movin' stuff // Zombies!
Jul. 4th, 2003 02:13 amDrove load of stuff (drawers, shelves, books, clothes) to Lorton around 11; almost forgot to stop by Steph&Matt's for their full sheets (multiple incomplete sets in white and burgundy, one complete set in terrible 70s tan-stripey)--got to 234 before remembering and circling back.
Had help from Nathan when I arrived--wasn't expecting him to be up, but he keeps weird hours; he was watching Adult Swim--InuYasha--in fact. :) He helped carry stuff upstairs; I then pushed boxes about, re-drawered and re-shelved the dresser and bookcases, respectively, moved the bookcases to their corners, assembled the bed frame and bed, and called it a night. (Fortunately, the bed frame, still new-in-box for 10-15 years now, living under my parents' bed, was the right size, adjustable including full.) Nice size, quite comfy.
Then downstairs, where Nathan and I watched the intro of a game he'd rented: Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick. Looked interesting, definitely his style of game: part shoot-em-up, part puzzle-solving in a city. Like GTA, only with zombies instead of vehicles. :) On a related note, I want to see 28 Days Later.
Now to bed, later than planned--as usual, I should really take this sort of thing into account when planning ;)--but I'll still get up early-ish to drive up to NY! :D
Oh yeah, remembered to add time to my phone, which would otherwise run out of its usage window and lose the established number. I'm pleased to note that TracFone lowered the cost of their minutes, too, and still throw in some unadvertised bonus minutes on every order I've made. :)
