Work, background check, plans and travel
Jun. 4th, 2003 03:44 amYesterday, worked 7-3:30; it was fairly productive while staying pretty slow, which is fine by me. Ran into Art & Diane Messenger (Matt's parents), told them about the new job. (I also told the other managers about it after Ross had passed it on, they were all very impressed. :)
IMed much of the afternoon/evening/night, as well as installing and completing the software provided by RDR for the Single Scope Background Investigation.. lemme tell you, it's a pain accounting for ten years--eight, actually, since it only counts work past age 16--of housing and employment, covering every single month. :P At any rate, done and submitted to Carlton (Personnel Security Manager) at RDR, thence to DSS. (Art pointed out that I may have to fill out some paperwork by hand as well, giving them plenty of writing samples in the process. :P)
Bed now, as I have work at 8.. then the Programmable Electronic Party at CUE Wednesday night, work Thursday afternoon, and heading north bound for Ithaca (Friday-Sunday) and then Long Island (Sunday-Monday) Friday morning! :)
