Off computer from 11pm to 4pm..

94 new entries, but only 15 emails, half of them spam, non of them personal outside of LJ comments (3!)

Worked 7-3, chatted with new employee-in-training about cars/engines/bikes/stereos, had some free manager-provided cake.

No call from RDR yet.

And ~2 hours later, I'm mostly caught up on reading and commenting..

"VANCOUVER - A top White House drug policy official is threatening retaliation from the U.S. if Canada relaxes its laws against marijuana possession.

David Murray, right-hand man to U.S. "drug czar" John Walters, says he doesn't want to tread on another country's sovereignty, but warned there would be consequences if Canada proceeds with a plan to decriminalize the possession of marijuana.

"We would have to respond. We would be forced to respond," said Murray.

Murray didn't spell out what the American response would be, but he invoked images of tie-ups at border crossings and intense bureaucracy."

Still have some pending reading from idoru, vampirekat, prester_scott (through chicken_hunter), and xviragox in atheist, as they'll require more time/care to read. However, I should be away to the theater to meet Nathan and his dad and see X-2, so those will get time/care later!
